What We’ve Heard So Far

Below is an overview of the community feedback received to date through emails to the project team and via the Contact Us page, stakeholder meetings, site tours, and community events such as the public Open House in October 2019. The comments/ideas are grouped under six broad topics – Recreation, Restoration, Community, Agriculture, Fire Safety & Climate Resilience, and Other. They are broadly categorized according to how frequently they were suggested by commenters and stakeholders, especially via the website and at community events.  This categorization is NOT indicative of Trust for Public Land’s preference for one idea over another nor does it demonstrate the feasibility of implementing any particular idea in the future.  Several commenters also suggested a 9- or 18-hole golf course, but The Trust for Public Land is not considering implementation of this idea on the property.
